Free startup directories in Europe (checked October 2026)

Where a young European startup can get listed for free: Startup.eu, StartupBlink, Dealroom, F6S and Meet New Brands, with what each one is good for and what to check first.

A young European startup can get listed for free on Startup.eu, StartupBlink, Dealroom and F6S, and can get a free article on Meet New Brands. These are not ads: they are databases and editorial sites that investors, journalists, partners and AI assistants use to find new companies, so a correct profile helps people find you. We checked each one in October 2026; terms change, so check the current conditions before you sign up.

Why list your startup in directories at all?

When someone searches for your company, or asks an AI assistant about new startups in your field or country, the answers often come from public databases and articles. A complete, consistent profile on a few trusted sites makes it more likely that you show up, with the right description. Use the same one-sentence description, logo, website and city everywhere.

Startup.eu: a European startup database

Startup.eu publishes daily data about startups and investments in Europe and lets startups sign up to get discovered. When we checked, its sign-up page said the account is free and needs no credit card, and that every account uses a verified work email. Good for: being findable by European investors and partners.

StartupBlink: the global startup ecosystem map

StartupBlink maps startup ecosystems by city and country. Startups can add themselves through a form with their name, website, city, industry and description; you have to confirm you represent the company, and submissions are reviewed before they appear. We found no fee on the form. Good for: showing up in city and country rankings.

Dealroom: the database investors use

Dealroom is widely used by European investors and governments to track startups. Founders can create or claim their company profile and edit it; Dealroom's founder help pages say founders who claim their profile get six months of free Premium access. Good for: making sure your funding, team and product data are correct where investors look.

F6S: profiles, programs and deals

F6S is a community where startups create a profile, apply to accelerator programs and find perks and jobs. Joining and creating a profile is free. Good for: finding programs and perks, and being visible to program organisers.

Meet New Brands: a free article about your startup

Meet New Brands writes free stories about young European startups and runs a brands directory. It is editorial: the editors pick the startups they believe in, check every fact with the founders before publishing, and never take payment. The only thing asked in return is a repost of the article on the founder's personal LinkedIn. You can pitch your story in about five minutes.
