Five new European startups to know (29 September to 6 October 2026)
Roofing software from Ghent, a women's health clinic from Amsterdam, clothing factories from Copenhagen, AI security tests from Paris and crop risk alerts from Bavaria: five young European companies that raised money this week.

Five young European companies announced news between 29 September and 6 October 2026: Spotable (Ghent), Flouria (Amsterdam), Rodinia Generation (Copenhagen), Fleuret (Paris) and Finches (Bavaria). They work on roofing quotes, women's hormonal health, automated clothing factories, AI security testing and food supply risks. Spotable: 3D measurements and quotes for roofers
Spotable, from Ghent in Belgium, makes software that measures a building digitally from its address, builds a 3D model and turns it into quantities and a quote, for roofing and facade contractors, distributors and building material makers. Founded in 2024 by Sebastien Vandendriessche, Julie Dumoulin and Pieter-Jan Philips, it says more than 350 companies use it. On 29 September 2026 it announced a 4 million euro seed round from private investors including Jonas Dhaenens and Christophe Morbee, to grow in Europe and the United States. Website: spotable.com. Flouria: an online clinic for women's hormonal health
Flouria, from Amsterdam, runs a digital clinic with doctor-led care for women with hormonal conditions such as perimenopause, PCOS and postpartum recovery, including testing, tracking and a personal treatment plan. It was co-founded by Jeanine van Munster, Vlatko Stojovski and Anna Christie, launched in October 2025 and says it has served more than 1,000 women in the Netherlands. On 1 October 2026 it announced that Healthy.Capital had joined its 1.5 million euro funding, to grow in the Netherlands and expand to other European countries. Website: flouria.health. Rodinia Generation: automated clothing factories close to the customer
Rodinia Generation, from Copenhagen, develops the O-FACTORY, an automated system for making clothes on demand and close to where they are sold, for fashion brands that want shorter lead times. Founded in 2017 by CEO Trine Young, it says its process cuts CO2e emissions per garment by about 40 percent compared with conventional production. On 5 October 2026 it announced 4 million euro led by Vitamin°C, with Climentum Capital and EIFO, to build its first commercial-scale facility in Portugal, planned for 2027. Fleuret: AI agents that run penetration tests
Fleuret, from Paris, uses AI agents to test web applications and APIs for security holes and to prove which ones can really be exploited, for security teams that need evidence for rules such as NIS2, DORA and ISO 27001. Founded in 2026 by Yanis Grigy and Augustin Ponsin, it has about 10 employees and lists a price of 4,000 euro per test on its website. Finches: early warnings about crop supply risks
Finches, from Bavaria in Germany, gives food manufacturers early warnings about risks to the agricultural raw materials they buy, by combining their procurement data with weather, satellite images and field reports. It is led by co-founder and CEO Catharina van Delden, and its customers include an organic baby food maker and a North American food group. On 6 October 2026 it announced a 2 million euro pre-seed round co-led by High-Tech Gründerfonds and Vanagon Ventures, with Bayern Kapital joining. Website: finches.ai. Source: Tech.eu.
