Klarent wants software teams to ship faster without writing test scripts
Two former Google engineers in Zurich built AI agents that turn plain-English instructions into automated tests for web and mobile apps, and repair them when the app changes.

Every time a software team ships a new feature, someone has to check that the rest of the app still works. Writing and maintaining those tests takes time, and they break whenever the interface changes. Klarent, a startup from Zurich, wants AI agents to do that work.
What does Klarent do?
Klarent is an autonomous, multi-agent QA testing platform for engineering and product teams. It turns plain-English instructions, user stories or product requirement documents into fully automated test suites, and then tests web and mobile apps the way a human QA engineer would, without complex scripting. When the interface changes, its self-healing agents repair the broken tests automatically, which according to the company cuts manual maintenance by up to 90 percent. Its main customers are in e-commerce, media, travel and financial services.
Who is behind it?
Klarent was founded in 2023 by two former Google engineers: Asheem Panakkat, the CEO, and Momchil Ivanov, the CTO. The company is headquartered in Zurich and was previously called fore ai.
What is new?
Klarent recently announced an 8 million dollar (about 7.13 million euro) seed round, led by Mosaic Ventures with Moonfire Ventures also taking part. The money will go to entering the United States, growing the engineering team and broadening its web and mobile testing.
